Eastern Annual Conference Notifications

The Eastern Annual Conference notification system distributes conference wide announcements and prayer requests.  The administrators of the notification system will be the EAC Vice President and the EAC Notification Officer.  The administrators of the notification system reserve the right to edit any notification to conform to the requirements of the system and the policies of the Eastern Annual Conference and The Southern Methodist Church.  They also reserve the right to refuse to distribute any announcement.

There will be two kinds of notifications: (1) conference and church announcements, and (2) prayer requests.  Any official denominational, conference, church, or Southern Methodist auxiliary event may be announced through the notification system.  Prayer requests should be limited to conference or denomination wide concerns.  Needs of individuals and their family members should be limited to those individuals who are members of an annual conference as defined in the Discipline of The Southern Methodist Church, including lay delegates.  Prayer requests for Individuals who are well known in the Eastern Annual Conference are also acceptable. 

Individuals who desire to receive these notifications must request to be placed on the list by emailing  eacnotifications@gmail.com.  They must provide their name and indicate whether to contact them by phone, email, or text message.   Those, who desire to be removed from the list of those who receive notification, are to email eacnotifications@gmail.com and state  that they want their name and phone number, or email address removed.
